AmesPore® metallic filters are sintered stainless steel or bronze parts with high porosity (between 25% and 60% by volume), produced by the powder metallurgy technology.

AmesPore® filters product range is

• AmesPore® SSI: stainless steel candle filters and porous tubes, commonly used for microfiltration of gases at high temperature or pressure and of liquids in a cross flow filtration regime. They are available in dimensions up to 160 mm diameter and 1,000 mm length, with a pore size range from 1 to 60 mm.

• AmesPore® SSU: stainless steel porous discs, rings and plates, commonly used in microfiltration of gases and líquids in a dead-end regime, or as mufflers, spargers, flame arrestors or fluidisation systems. They are available in several dimensions and also as standard discs with permanent stock, with a pore size range from 1 to 60 mm.

• AmesPore® XPM: metallic membranes, used in cross flow ultrafiltration facilities for the food (beverages, dairy products, etc.), pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical industries, or for wastewater treatment, among other applications. They are commercialized as compact modules with filtration surface from 0,16 to 3,11 m2, with filtration efficiency from 20 to 500 nm.

• AmesPore® B: bronze filters, typically used for filtration (only small pore grades), pressure drop, silencing (mufflers), moisture protection and flow control. They are available as simple geometries (discs, rings, plates) or complex customized shapes, with a pore size range from 15 to 290 mm.

AmesPore® sintered metallic filters are manufactured by the company AMES at its specialized AMES Solsona plant, in Spain, which is certified according to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 quality standards.
The AMES Solsona factory has a Technical Department specialized in filters and porous sintered parts, fully equipped to determine the filter properties of (porosity, pore size, bubble point, filtering efficiency, permeability, metallography, corrosion resistance, mechanical characteristics, etc.) and to simulate their behaviour in service and useful life.
