The Large Scale Storage Unit (LSSU) offers large-scale temperature-controlled storage capabilities that are specific to biotech and pharmaceutical environments. Apart from offering large-scale storage, the LSSU also functions as a blast freezer and is part of the process for producing vaccines, medicine, or any other biotech and pharmaceutical products. The LSSU has a storage capacity of up to 3,200 kg of fluid products in bottles, bags, or vials per unit, in a temperature range from +10°C to -70°C. The capacity of an LSSU is approximately equal to 40 well-known standard upright freezers. Our calculations show a saving of nearly 90% in the yearly total cost of operation compared to traditional solutions.

With the modular building concept, you can easily increase your storage capacity by adding more units, even when the existing units are in full operation. An installation of the LSSU does not require a specific cleanroom, only a weather-resistant building, as the LSSU is a complete cleanroom itself.
